Get A Grip

I know you think I'm funny, you think this is all a joke. Just give it some thought and you might come to see, Hell, I can crack some jokes, but I was being serious, And what I said was how I feel and not some silly pun. So stop trying to laugh it off and instead just walk away now. You lost what you lost, you need to accept it as it has become, And go make your new start, but please just leave me out of it. I don't want to be mean but it seems that's all you understand.

Very strong...this is like a slap in the face to whoever it's aimed at. Pretty good rhythm even without rhyme. Great opening line, too. Nice job.
