All Hallow's Eve

All Hallow's Eve

A Poem by Miranda Richard
"

Spooky

"

All Hallow's Eve is a very special day

Monsters and ghouls take your breath away

Spiders and snakes climb into your bed

Creepy crawlies everywhere, eyes burning red

Spirits and ghosts haunt your house at night

Waiting for you to sleep, then giving you a fright

You can't escape from these evils unseen

For today is a special day, All Hallow's Eve

It's best to stay in and hide tonight

Stay away from the dark, step into the light

Wolves and demons howl at the moon with zeal

If you're not careful, you might be their next meal

Witches on broomsticks take over the skies

They watch you closely, hovering up high

So be careful not to go out and meet your fate

Stay inside, run and hide, or it'll be too late.

I love this holiday... it is the day where it is fun to be scared... quite a fun read is your poem.

Thank you! Fun is what I was going for
Spooky is right. Escaping is futile. :)
