Emotions

Feeling moody, decided to write about it.

Love can bloom like any flower, opening up when it's time
But love can hurt like a raging storm, lighting up the skies
Desire can flood like a tsunami wave, wiping all out of its path
Hope can bring two people together, finding each other at last
Romance can burn like a dancing flame, warming your heart and soul
Happiness can mend a broken heart, as it works to make it whole
Emotions can do all these things, yes it is all true
But ask yourself this question-
What can they do for you?

Emotions are what makes us truly human. Love the last few lines. I tend to think of them as intuition sensors to keep you out of harms way. You have to master and understand your emotions though. Self controling your emotions goes a long way in life.
As long as you why there's a need for it. Great write. :)

Glad you enjoyed it. I literally wrote if five minutes ago in about one minute-spur of the moment idea. The people you surround yourself with can bring a lot of happiness if you're feeling down. Sometimes when I feel upset, I try and listen to a joke from a friend (although my friends wouldn't know a good joke if it bit them).
