Dead On The Outside

Dead On The Outside

A Poem by Bejn Jonathon Edwards
"

Alice in Chains influenced.

"

So many people are diseased
they become less than nothing
Callous to the thought of empathy
while struggling to accept inevitability

Cutting into my own arms for a change
avoid the scars and pass the flesh
Life is fucked up, it’s a cancer
ready to soil the virginal mind

I feel nothing and I’m dead on the outside

Pride just leads to a fall
into the cold, unforgiving soil
We all have problems but
we can’t just believe we’re born to die

I feel nothing and I’m dead on the outside

A dark poem....makes sense though XD I do agree that the older you age, the less innocent you become. Nice poem ^_^
