I want to talk about you.

What you like, where you're going,

the adventures you've had.

This should be about us both.

Let's share opinions,

skip work together,

listen to music.

Let's laugh and philosophise

over coffee or something.

Let's sit in silence.

I am not a selfish person

and so I need you

almost as much

as I need this.

Reaching out,

I don't know what to say,

but I feel calmer;

Not bad. I think the conversational tone is the right direction and this is mostly very pleasant to read. I think you could have used more imagery, but even still, this is very readable. Good work.
