A Hearts LiarA Poem by Jonah V. SyxWe do not control what the heart feels you should hear. Truth or LieYou only ask I speak the truth, Forgive who I am, that I can't do. It's not a choice my mind it makes, But blame be the same, the choice is made. You look at me in the eyes, Looking for tears to fall, but they're all dry. But I'm......just one....heart's liar. With me.......I speak......heart's liar. Don't leave......trust me.......a heart's liar. It all seems to say the same, The pain that it brings, I take the blame. I do not know the heart's desire, For only I hear, the heart's liar. Give me the chance to make it right, Forgive what I am, that’s another lie. But I'm......just one....heart's liar. With me.......I speak......heart's liar. Don't leave......trust me.......a heart's liar. All these lies I can't denied, Forgive me again, but I will try. Just give me the blade, Give up the pain, today is the day I'll end the rain. Yes my body is just the token, For a heart and it's lie, our bonds unbroken. But I'm......just one....heart's liar. With me.......I speak......heart's liar. Don't leave......trust me.......a heart's liar.
