Burden of Thought.A Poem by Jon BuckleyBreaking barriers you wouldn't know were there, the endless wonder. It goes on and on.
My mind, the fragile being, is blown. It is non-stop. Wearing me out.
Over-thinking is a poor man's job. They have that power. It's new to me.
Thinking. Wondering, in a world that forbids it. Work of outlaws. Pressure.
How can I unburden myself of my thoughts? Distraction? Interaction?
The answer has been blind in my subconcious. Your presence. Your being.
Your beauty is now the subject of my thought. © 2011 Jon Buckley |
