Maej: Journal Entry 6

Maej sets off for his next adventure.

Now that my first goal after setting out on my own has been met, I'm not sure where to set off to next.  I haven't been able to find any information on another village with any dire threats, although Galena may not be the best place to seek out such stories.  The cat-like creature, which I found to be named "Heesh" from a native townsman in the pub this morning, has a tribe in the mountains north of town.  I am somewhat curious of these people, but I would not dare tempt their generosity by trespassing in their land.  Heesh easily proved a match for me in battle earlier and there would likely be many more of his kind there and I would fear for my life in a battle with so many strong foes.  Perhaps further down this path of life I will meet with Heesh and his kin, I would look forward to that.  

According to the local merkant the weekly air whale carrier will be passing through town before sunset today, I imagine with the Galena creature disposed of there would be little point in me staying here any longer.  Its several days from Sedenza from here even by air whale, but that seems to be the most likely place to find another opportunity to better my new abilities.  It's been a few years since I've traveled to Sedenza, but I remember it being a very busy place, according to the merkants it's the largest city on the continent, only Jonin on the coast comes close.  I'm sure someone there could find use for my services, or at the very least I can find another test of my growing strength.  My only concern is that I will not have proper grounds to continuing training my abilities on the air whale carrier.  I may need to find a secluded area outside of the city to train when I arrive to make sure my body stays in top form for any future activities.  

It's settled, I'm going to gather the rest of my things and get ready for the trip.  I'll need to gather some food and drink for the trip; luckily the air whale station is near the town center where the shops are located.  I'll write again during the trip, hopefully I’ll find some more information from the other passengers about the next step in this journey.
