Oudrine: Journal Entry 3

Oudrine nears the city of Sedenza.

I'll be very glad to get off of this carrier as soon as I can. It seemed as the entire thing was going to crash when the air whale dove for a quick snack yesterday... It's been so long since I've ridden one I had forgotten that these beasts rush down to eat the tops of trees from time to time. Now I remember why I haven't hurried off to travel for so long, these trips can be rather rough sometimes. Though I don't know when I'll even be allowed to leave the haven anyway, I won't think about that now though. Today is the day! I'm arriving in Sedenza today, the largest city on the entire continent. I'm much more excited than I thought I would be. I just can't wait! Jonas should be meeting me near the air whale station and then it's off to the haven. I'm excited to go... but there are some things about myself I don't know if I'm ready to face. I've been hiding things for so long; will I really be able to let it all go? I know the haven is the best place for people like me but... I guess I'm more scared of myself than anything else. Still though, this is a wonderful opportunity, and I am looking forward to it.

I can see the city from here! It's clearly on the horizon now, Sedenza... Wow, it's even larger than I thought, those buildings are so tall! I'm really here; even the great lake is gone in the distance behind me now. There’s nothing to do now but look forward and keeping moving.
