Maej: Journal Entry 1

This entry describes Maej's mindset as he leaves his lifelong home to seek for new meaning and purpose in his life.

It’s a lot lonelier out here than I thought. I miss them already, but I know I made the right decision. It’s going to be a tough road ahead, but I’m ready and I know I have to keep going ahead. It’s actually exciting, up until now I’ve been leading an average life, but with this new…. power, I know I can do a lot more. There have to be others like me out there, I should seek them out, maybe learn from them or set them free from their average existence. First though I’m going to head east, I heard there’s a town there being plagued by some wild monsters. I know I’m able to help them so I feel obligated to do so. But really I’d just like to see what I’m capable of. There’s a whole new world of possibilities out there for me now, I can’t wait to get out there and live life with a new zeal. I should try getting some rest I have a long trip ahead of me.
