ArachnophiliaA Poem by John_CoxPoem about bad childhood memories and coping
When I was a child
The only thing my dad was afraid of were, The fat harry spiders, Of the house and garage. So I'd catch them and relocate them to my father's room, He'd kill them with a bang and yell, Booming through the house: "Killed another and that f****r was huge!" Then he'd blame my mother Yelling at her to clean the damn house. At night I'd lay in bed and hope One of those spiders would bite him, and he would die. It never happened. © 2009 John_Cox |
