Seven Words

Only seven words will make sure we make it through,

It’s a graceful “I love you” and “I love you too”.

When I build the strength to say the first three to you

I pray that you can look at me in the same view

Maybe we crash and burn and I’ll look like a loon

When my three words are said and silence fills the room.
