Love and Thieves

Love and Thieves

A Poem by JohnThomIV

I’ve been longing in these lands

Burning my feet on these sands.

Wandering around with an open hand,

Looking for love I can stand.

Lots of thieves stealing riches,

Making the poor struggle more.

Addicts use love for itches,

While the lost ones count the score.
