My LabyrinthA Poem by JohnThomIVThis poem is about trying to find myself and understanding being alone most of the time.Every quiet night spent alone In life’s labyrinth with no way to go, Left or Right, I don’t know, The walls too tall, no room to grow On the winding paths I will walk For hours and days getting mocked, At each dark dead end, I am blocked On the winding paths, the wind would talk I will draw a map to find the right way, So no more dead ends can lead me astray, In the center I will find myself, And in the dawn, I will awake. © 2024 JohnThomIV |
