My Labyrinth

My Labyrinth

A Poem by JohnThomIV
"

This poem is about trying to find myself and understanding being alone most of the time.

"

Every quiet night spent alone

In life’s labyrinth with no way to go,

Left or Right, I don’t know,

The walls too tall, no room to grow

On the winding paths I will walk

For hours and days getting mocked,

At each dark dead end, I am blocked

On the winding paths, the wind would talk

I will draw a map to find the right way,

So no more dead ends can lead me astray,

In the center I will find myself,

And in the dawn, I will awake.
