A Chance, Once MoreA Poem by J.R. Asor_28
Drowned in my own sorrow
Hoping there will be a tomorrow A chance to see A chance to be with A chance I barely got It felt like I've been shot I know you'd come again I know you'd come knockin' Rappin', tappin' on my door And I'll be there to answer Only you and nothing more Once more, I'd see your smile And mine would go on for miles Once more, I'd see the seraph's beauty And hear the flowing euphony Once more, the pendulous heart of mine Would rise again and shine Shine brighter than the sky Shine brighter than the sun Brighter than bright Blinding my sight Shine like heaven's light Like Earth's brightest night Like Romeo and Juliet, O the lips of thee Doth the sealing of breath's gate Let the lips do what palms do And let them mate But where art thou? Shouldn't you be hither For my love to be proven? But if you decided to show up, I won't be in the hidden I'll always be here waiting, waiting... © 2013 J.R. Asor_28Reviews
