DON'T WRITE ANYONE OFF

DON'T WRITE ANYONE OFF

A Story by John Onyekachi

In our money-obsessed world, it's not uncommon to see individuals who have been disregarded by their loved ones and society due to their poor financial status. The pressure is so immense that many young people are forced into criminal activities just to keep up with societal standards. Leaders must rise against this epidemic that is gradually eroding the very foundation of our society.

Leaders should look beyond an individual's present situation, especially if it poses a limitation or barrier to meeting expected demands. This is particularly true in cases of financial limitations.
One mustn't write off anyone simply because they're poor. Tomorrow holds infinite possibilities; things may drastically turn around for that same person. And when it does, your role in their life during their struggling days will determine your position in their future when things improve.
A person may appear as a failure today, but that doesn't mean they'll be one tomorrow.

Leaders are visionaries equipped with special abilities to foresee the future.

I once pastored a Church where there was a brother whom many considered an utter failure: he was jobless, broke and still single at an age where his mates were already celebrating 10-year wedding anniversaries.

Although he couldn't give me any money then, he displayed loyalty and commitment which I valued greatly as his pastor. Even when I faced financial difficulties while serving as his pastor, he spoke to others on my behalf without any prompting from me.

However, despite all these challenges, I never gave up on him or lost faith in God's power to change his life.

Surprisingly, this same brother reached out to me recently asking for my bank details. A few minutes later, he sent me N100k with a message which read, "Pastor please manage this for now."

When I served as his pastor years ago, he didn't have enough funds even to sow seeds couldn't even give me a seed of N2k; yet eight years later, he willingly gave me N100k. This is a sure proof that God can indeed transform lives!
People may write you off but don’t give up on yourself or God! Keep making progress no matter how small; invest time developing yourself because situations do change positively sometimes " miracles happen!

Don’t write anyone off!
