Older

As you grow older,
Everything takes more time;
Funny that
Because time is what,
As you grow older,
You have less and less of.

On a similar note,
Inflation means
That the price of a haircut
Goes up every year
When there is less and less
Hair to cut.

I wonder then,
Hairless and toothless,
Caged in its cot,
Does the bald baby,
Bawling and chuckling,
Know something
That we don't?

Benjamin Button comes to mind....if only we could go backwards....would the hair grow long again like the days. They seemed endless when we were kids....and now? They whisk by so fast. I feel this one.
