RIP

So farewell then, Nicola Bulley.
Your death was
The result of
A tragic accident,
According to the coroner's report.

Not a staged suicide
Or a random murder.

There was no abduction,
No romantic absconding
From job and family.

We learned so much about you
In the weeks you were missing.

The icey water
Could have dulled
The demons and the despair,
Or a stranger's car
Driven you to
La Vita Nuova.

But that's all over now.
You disappointed in life,
As you have done in death.

So many live lives that are no spectacle at all, nothing to write home about...
I don't know that that is so bad...but this seems to be about someone who just blended in blandly...and couldn't even merit attention in how she died.
interesting piece John...don't understand why this doesn't have reviews...
