Devices 23A Poem by John23
Farewell to the bewilderness.
Adieu, adieu, all is amiss For east is west and north is south And urgent speech pours from the mouth. The woman living in a shoe Proved one and one unequalled two; The children when accused denied For every one was called aside. Bombarded with diversity, With every living oddity, The fox lies curled at side of train. What falls is fire, not sheets of rain. The thinker's head with stony eyes Surveys when tilted skyward skies. © 2019 John |
