Look back #1.

Look back #1.

A Poem by But,itis,theend

It's a hard thing to begin. To start from the beginning.
Thumbing through my entire collection of you.
The present album might glorify the old.
I want to think any moment collected is perfectly untouched.
So I will.
The small, quietly confident, quietly nervous
Freckled porcelain miniature
Walking in and sitting down with us, her new young workers.
To my surprise, terrified excitement, and again surprise.
My burned red cheeks, not too unlike an embarrassed child.
I am overly honest(with my personal truths). Without defense. Silence can not hide the blush
Of my pale skin ancestry.
She has full length dark red hair. Sitting just above the back of her thigh.
Shades, layers...auburn, strawberry, ginger
Scattered autumn
Occasionally pulling it in front of her right shoulder
Running through it for comfort.
We are shy, we are anxious, we are similar.
I can not recall a single word. I wish then
We could have made our choice.
Kiss her smile and tell her that yes
We do love each other.
