Let the Truth Remain Unspoken

Let the Truth Remain Unspoken

A Poem by John McGrael
"

another short poem, dont usually write 'em short so enjoy this one, haha

"

Let the truth remain unspoken,

So dreams may still be dreamt.

Let the heart remain unbroken,

So first loves may be kept.

Let the stars remain above us.

So we may always strive.

And let death remain among us,

So we may know our lives.

Let all these things be done in turn,

And they, in turn, will do;

Everything that need be done,

To give, your life, to you.

Had to laugh at the contradictions in your word comparison. LOL Too funny. First, great to see you posting again, my friend. Second, exciting seeing you post again, my friend. Third, this is one Outstanding work of art, as usual and as to be expected of you. Your pen never fails you. You have the precision of a Mastery. Never stop. As far as reviewers, lately we seem to have the FB 2.0 bug going around since the makeover. A lot of fly by reads these days. LOL
This is a Remarkable piece. You are what I call a natural poet who knows exactly what he is after in each piece, and builds with a Mason's accuracy.

So simple, but each line holds such meaning. It has a very nice rhythm to it too. Very very nice.

This is a gorgeous poem. I love the message it sends - especially "Let the heart remain unbroken". The bit about stars is a close second. It's not at all pretentious but really sensible and beautiful. Great job. :)
