Somebody Among Nobody

Somebody Among Nobody

A Story by Jay
"

My most resent story I call it I guess... no characters but I try to paint a picture with emotions... so tell me what you think.

"
I wish there was something I could say, some quote that would inspire the masses or a line that would become my legacy. I am no one in the eyes of society, just some kid with a key board, but does that mean that I cannot “have a dream?” I may not be original but I am not a copy, and honey, you look like a wanna-be of some pop star no one will remember in five years. Reality is not what you seek. No one wants to be a nobody in a town of somebodys. It is hard to live the life you were granted, your allotted time for living is still under discussion by all the people that smile to your face but mock you behind your back. You can't keep an empire if no one chooses to follow your “rule.” You call me a nobody but look at you? You are dying for your shot at the lime light and your fifteen minutes of fame but you aren't willing to try for what you want. I don't want fame, or anything that comes with it. I want to be famous in your eyes or the eyes of the people that respect me for what I am.

Jay
It's a little different from what I usually write about but I'm happy with it... tell me what you think of it.
