The Diabolical Death Of Sylvanie.

The Diabolical Death Of Sylvanie.

A Poem by John Phoenix Hutchinson.

"

A witch is killed in my first novel, Arise the Stone Witches.

The Diabolical Death Of Sylvanie.

Her beauty flamed in divine fire
burning, yearning in my minds eye.
Her symmetry, her shapeliness,
spun the spell of Apollonian myth.

In allurements trap, I floundered.
Venal vice, she held me ensnared.
In intimacy with this devilish nymphet,
this malevolent spirit of darkness, I joined.

My demise, her mindset in orgasmic throws.
To be slaughtered in a bed of diabolical deceit.
Her purpose was known to me but driven
from my mind by passions entrapment.

Her long cascading locks, entwined round my
neck as if they had an evil will of their own.
A feminine tress, a noose of golden flow.
Strangulating the very life out of me.

The pain, the torment of imminent death
broke the hold of passions spell.
I grapple and grasp with my free hand,
for under my pillow laid the witch's bane.

Cold hard heavy hilt of blackest onyx,
with bright white crystal luminescent blade.
A lightening blow bolts to evils eye!
The dagger overwhelms her brain.

To you or me an instant death, life hangs on to this foe.
Held strong by murderous carnal embrace.
We fight in lascivious blows of orgiastic legend.
I draw the blade out, a pitched hideous scream!

I stab her in frozen heart, still she lives on.
Many times now, in a frantic frenzy I strike.
The b***h starts to burn slowly, smoking at first.
I escape her coitus clamp and golden noose.

Hells conflagration now before me stood.
Fire burning, raging from orifices bright,
A dragon incarnate, screaming flames.
Crying tears of black acid down blistering cheeks.

She implodes into a nothingness, a black hole,
Before exploding in an all consuming ash.
I choke on her cinders but embrace her embers in victory.
The death of a Witch........... Slyvanie.

Author's Note

John Phoenix Hutchinson.
A stand alone poem......but intended for a story line in my book Arise the Stone Witches. (Chapter 5).
Might do another poem at some point as Slyvanie has a twin sister who will be out for revenge.............

i think i like this more than any other of your writes to date. i'm not going to write a long, drawn out dissertation because there are those lurking behind the larger minds who have precious little to do other than attack what they don't understand. this is an informal site for artists who share creative and informal forum about each others art, and, knowing that you are in fact gifted i will not malinger over the details at present. in short, this is a great poem!

edit: it's = its, oops
The description of evil luring the good into its trap is so vivid !!!
Then the idea of the ever-powerful sword that comes to the good's rescue thanks to the sudden awakening from the luscious dream, then the stab , the wail of the defeated evil and then the rush of adrenalin from victory as the evil falls and fades leaving behind traces that remind us of the fight and the victory !!

I have immense respect for your poems... and with every such piece of poetry, it only rises higher

Thanks seeker.... :)
Nicely constructed. I don't think I've ever read about a succubus witch. The style reminded me a bit of Robert E. Howard. :)

My thanks "K"
I still have yet to read your book Arise the Stone Witches (I'll get to it soon, promise). I must point out that the other day I was thinking about witches and the Salem Witch trials and such, and now you've got my mind going about witches again! Thank you! (that's not sarcastic by the way) The detials in this poem were amazing, the flow was nice and I see no problems with this at all. You're a very talent writer that's for sure. I'll get to reading your book soon!
All in all, great poem, thanks for sharing!
