Magnus Opus HermeticusA Poem by John Phoenix Hutchinson. The great work hidden within.Magnus Opus Hermeticus Crystal clear, the waters of life. Shown to me by angels of grace. I sing, to the mornings stars. Lord, my soul cries for you. Grounded on earth's foundations. Focused on heavens divine light. I enter through minds door. Immaterial vision awaits me. A gift from the mercy of God. I have been born in my mind! Immortal, I stand before the mirror. Deathless, till the end of time. Now for a moment, I ascend. Floating, through clouds of wisdom. I bathe in a universal castile. Cleansed of earthly immorality. No desecration within the all above. No violation, in the celestial hallowed halls. Here I gaze upon hope, imagination and love. Framed, bound together in trinity. Far then on winged feet, I travelled, Not held by the circle of life. Till time and space became nothingness. I sped towards a singular light. Where I am afforded a brief glimpse. A golden cup of pansophic truth. Burning in enlightenment flame. Blinded, I am sent back into minds eye. I awake from the dream glad. For in the heart of this man. I have learned of greater mysteries. For in searching for truth,my soul is stilled. The eternal flame burns brightly.
