Embracing Father.

Have you ever had a dream as powerful as this???

Somber, I entered slumber.
Hoping to escape the pain.
Dark depression, had a hold on me.
Tender soul, brokenhearted slain.

As I fell into my dormancy.
Something happened, like never of yore.
Vibration, then hands lifting me up.
Naked, through mystical door.

Finding myself by childhood home.
Standing by pond, crystal clear.
Fishes swim with elegance and grace.
Feeding on my falling tears.

Suddenly, I hear my late Father cry out.
On a bed, he's prostrate before.
Kneeling beside, with my arms held aloft
I collapse and fall to the floor.

Awoken, by the warmth of his breath
He has entered my mind with his grace
"John do not seek darkness and death."
Weeping, we both embraced.

The dream brought me relief. I must of had tears for an hour after waking and then great clarity of the message i had received its was very inspiring and I believe only good will come of it.

After re-reading this after your comment, I now understand fully the circle of clarity. I apologize for not realizing full out the first time. I can see how this dream would have brought relief, especially after the depression and pain you first describe. And then finding yourself in a place that was so dear to you, and to hear your fathers voice. And the last lines -
"John do not seek darkness and death."

I can see how you would wake up so emotional with clarity, and also as you say to believe the goodwill to come of it. After the pain and depression suffered, this message in your dream was like an awakening. I am so glad you chose to see it this way. I am still sorry for the pain you have suffered. Thank you for your response. I went back through this and re-read it and saw not only the sadness and pain - that was just the beginning, but the bigger picture, which was the amazing impact this had on you, and the tears you woke up to were tears of relief. Its a wonderful and gripping poem.
yes it happens at times the dreams are so real that its confusing what the reality is and at times the dream turn out to be path changer or at least a great soother in the depressing phase of life.
