Fragile HopeA Poem by John Phoenix Hutchinson.Outside a strong hardened adventurous man....inside a fragile soul seeking redemption.Hard muscular man the outside layer. He can climb mountains, swim across lakes, bath in fountains. He can jump a horse high and ride hard fast fast - faster. High wind, heavy rain will not stop him Adrenaline rush, pushes the adventurer. Inside - the mind a crashing sea. A body afloat grabbed by the tides. Flung upon rocks time again. Inside - the heart a burning flame eternal. The light salvation in silvered glass. A fragile hope. Alone, so lonely now. A Tear his master. Escaped in slumber. AWAKE AWAKE!! All tears, are not a sadness. Remember the joy. Remember the lesson. Protect- Fight for the fragile hope. The Mind a sword -The Heart a shield. © 2012 John Phoenix Hutchinson.Featured Review
