Don't hold your breath

Don't hold your breath

A Poem by David Gabar
"

It's about people who are so close minded and afraid everything ,no character no heart. They never have time for positivity but they always have time to be negative and time to judge someone else.

"
Why?
People kill.
People punch.
People help.
People will.
Race and ethnicity reasons?
Couldn't be more than wrong.
Goodbye to you.
What's tomorrow,
When you'll think the same
Thoughts today.
It's never a new day
With the same thoughts as
Yesterday.
Today is tomorrow and it's for
real.
When it's all gone what's left,
just you.
Turn the lights down.
And listen.
A lot of people don't understand.
Why does she dress in all black?
Obviously she likes it she doesn't
have to be goth.
Why does he wear tight jeans?
Well maybe he might feel that
they fit him better he doesn't
Have to be gay.
Is that what you want to do
with your life?
You know how many people
want to do that.
Why do you judge?
Because you're afraid to
Be you?
Be cool, be true or maybe you
just don't even believe you.
You were always a coward.
Afraid to express what's on
Your chest.
That's why it's always you
Who wears the suit or accepts
The 9-5 that judges.
To anyone who has a dream or
Wants to be heard.
Don't hold your breath.
But die for your passion.
