Oh! This World!

Oh! This World!

A Poem by John Doeadeer (Pen name)
"

This is the first poem in my Collection called "A kid's view of Life".

"

Oh, in This house, or this world,

Hear everything with an angry word!

This place, where quarrels take place,

I can't look with a happy face!

Because of one Satan, this world was cracked!

Happiness and Joy, all were packed!

By Satan, the usurper, who was really a serpent!

All People now forgot to repent!

Oh, not edit God's Word,

I can always see Satans taking the world!

Putting in our mind to go and fight,

Even if God tries to make us right.

I can't stand here anymore,

As quarrels grow more and more.

I want to die away from this world,

So that my Heart can say, "bad world."

Clever, seemingly devout. I like the classical feeling of good vs. evil. Then how Evil always seems much more common or real. Then that good just never comes forth when ultimately needed.

That and the scolding at the end worked with it all. Very nice.

I am John Doeadeer, and I'm using this to hide my identity as writers often do, as our literary world is full of danger... I am a huge fan of the classics of Shakespeare, Lord Tennyson, Hawthorne, .. more..
