A Poem by John Cuttito

poems lights reserved

north city row dirt of transformation

resisted naked assault

nationalist history mistake

culture mumbling manifesto ignored stumbling excused awake

thought going clean frontier unattainable

universal lyrics

be ecstatic lovely kingdom old existential singing freely

will reality always demolish his sight

dying waiting out ones’ unfinished dragon eyes beating at the

phallus sowing end and beginning view

clear civilized reflection elegant iron meadow

dreamed existence particular happening kissing life

saying who is written is a serpent

leaving shadows looking like sleeping signs

painted night moves diamond caved and singular view winter risen and

unknown honor skillful change and find no wanting but belief in moments of infinite
