Kinetic Magnetic

Kinetic Magnetic

A Poem by John Cuttito

You keep forgetting you started
out this wild flower without your problem.
It ain't pleasure when you fight.
I'd be whatever you like.
Insignificant, gentle, nothing, a personality
full of life. Only you pronounce love so well.
Miss you, whether or not you'd leave me with
myself after just a few nice strokes.
This heart would have to hear from the most initial
misconceptions to remind me of most of it.

I'm just a part. I'll try to remember and bring velvet
night if I come back tomorrow. A heavy heart
always between Boy /and/ Man.

She won't say how she was found this way.
All passion is pure even to the
point of impossible perfection.
If love comes here will she go away.

(Whisper this night towards day. Even this boy must matter
in the stone garden with the peach pit of paradise placed between
his lips. A hard bite upon the shell. Then this too might shatter).

Informational Transformation.
When I knew the ambiguous heart was mine
and chose to walk away. Even over rivers edge.
Black rain and this dizzy desert storm carried away
the decision and cooled this solitary sizzle
