Normal

Normal

A Poem by John Anderson

She wanted a normal man
Someone conventional
She didn’t want a man
Thinking out of the box
Who wore old shoes
And wore odd socks
She wanted a shirt
With a matching tie
Someone to be with her
Till the day she would die
She didn’t want blue sky
Blue sky thinking
Or a bit of a S & M
After some drinking
She agreed once a week
To missionary sex
For oral pleasure
Just made her vexed
Thirty minutes was her limit
Not one minute more
For thirty one minutes
Equated to a w***e
She wore a nighty
Down to her knees
Fully buttoned
Not wishing to tease
No dirty talk
No cuffs no whips
No strawberries on her body
No licking on her lips
She wanted nothing weird
Nothing abnormal
For she considered herself
A woman born normal
No secret fantasies
No wildest dreams
No moaning out loud
And no whipped cream
She was a normal woman
And all else was weird
So I made her nervous
So very afraid
