We Speak of Creation

We Speak of Creation

A Poem by John Anderson

We speak of creation
as if it were a moment in time
before which, nothing.

But suppose it were a pause,
a breath held lightly
in wonder or
a dancer lighting on the toes
of one foot

before she springs
further
and further
on to the next...

Fine writing here. Imagery and metaphor.

With God, one day is like one thousand years. Mother Nature is still working, how tired she must be of us humans destroying her creations....Valentine

Nice thoughts penned nicely.

I see images of the creator tip toe dancing thru time space

Fantastic imagery and classic phrasing. I was drawn in, reveling in the moment, until I read your final line! Great piece

Interesting thoughts John. A light touch on creation when it's usually wrought with heavy dramatic overtures.
