Infinity To The Spirit Of Man

Infinity To The Spirit Of Man

A Poem by John Anderson

The evolving world looks at me every five or so years.
When something that is different has stopped being different.
And something that is the same is no longer there.
And the criticism cannot be it being different.

Because unless we accept the future, then it isn't the future.
And unless we learn from the past, then it isn't the past.

For time is a gift, and it cannot be returned.
And its friendship gives infinity to the spirit of man,
And in his ability to learn.

Teach me how to do this, be able to grasp a complex thought, wrenching it, making it your own. Nice.

"Because unless we accept the future, then it isn't the future.
And unless we learn from the past, then it isn't the past."
I agree with the above lines. Thank you John for sharing the excellent poetry.

There is more to us than meets the eye.
Infinite consciousness and an unseen connection between us all.
An exceptional piece of writing.

You have done a great job here...
Logical and profound..

there is some incredibly sound logic in these words...and they are so nicely put together, John.

we too often just think of time as our enemy...and how fleeting it is...and how much older we get by the moment..but we need also to appreciate the moments we do get and make the most of them.

"Because unless we accept the future, then it isn't the future.
And unless we learn from the past, then it isn't the past."
Interesting concept, time is an illusion created by man
it's what we want it to be.
Awesome ink!
