Stranger In My Own Place

Stranger In My Own Place

A Poem by J.C. Rabanes

"Stranger In My Own Place"

Wouldn't be wise if I just keep the feeling I showed this time.
And maybe I am not this sorry to myself for all the lies I thought was right.
And all those words I told you that isn't lies is now keep flashing in my mind.
Regrets overflowed my heart every time I close my eyes.

I thought all you told to me was true.
But seems life is cruel as I look at you.
Everything's now lost in my back
As I watched you leave this place
All the pains I felt this very day
Leave me a stranger in my own place

I tried to be a friend that you can count when you're helpless.
But I think that is ain't enough to make you feel special in me.
Tell me how would I forget you if I myself know it was you.
I know as I looked above all I had prayed was you.

I thought all you told to me was true.
But seems life is cruel as I look at you.
Everything's now lost in my back
As I watched you leave this place
All the pains I felt this very day
Leave me a stranger in my own place

Now you continued walking leaving me unable to move.

I thought all you told to me was true.
But seems life is cruel as I look at you.
Everything's now lost in my back
As I watched you leave this place
All the pains I felt this very day
Leave me a stranger in my own place
