Feelings Might Gone

Feelings Might Gone

A Poem by J.C. Rabanes

Feelings Might Gone

You crossed the bridge that ended the silence we're once facing.
The boat I am sailing now might end sunk in the depths of the sea.
I looked like a soldier marching singing hallelujah in the air.
Praising the almighty creator but hurting the people beside me.

You are an airplane and I am a ship;
You are so fast for me to reach you.
You are a silver and me just a bronze;
You valued more than me, a stone.

Yet, you found ways to connect us
but the connection is complicated.
Regrets tortured my good heart;
I was like a mirror wreaking in vain.

This feelings made me alive and well.
This helped me be inspired again.
The moments I cherished everyday
will be the moments I want to remember someday.

The eyes I wear let me see the possibility.
This feeling might gone like a sunken ship.
You might land first in the place before me
and when I reached that place you're gone once again.

You know, and I know, feelings are temporary.
It will lost from us along the way.
If that time comes we crossed path in the sea.
And held the same feelings again.

The bridge you once crossed in the start of our journey.
I will crossed it for it is my turn.
The sinking ship that I am sailing in this wild sea.
I will leave it and swim for you.
