Plough, Mouth, Kneeling, Water

A Poem by Johari
"

An Egyptian Love Poem.

"

Wi tw mri, oh revered lady of my heart
Most fair of the green land between two rivers
Beloved of Hathor
The one on which Ma
at smiles

You are my Isis, my Nefertari, the Aten disc,
that nourishes my soul.
Skin of gold and lapis hair
More precious than blue lotus.

this is such a unique love poem...the words so carefully placed...makes the form give added cadence to the meaning.

Beautiful, entertaining, educational, and sensual. The hieroglyphs for "I love you" are rather interesting!

This artist has set the bar high, and yet is always surpassing it. I can always find a unique element that conjures a mysterious and original atmosphere.

Im transported - to the temple with its ordered white columns ....and this is a prayer - the sun is beating down into the courtyard and we are kneeling before a stauette of the Aten and another of Isis - incense is dancing to the olfactory senses and creating the heavens on earth.
beautiful daydreams - thank you
