Crimson and Salt

Crimson and Salt

A Poem by Johannes Fahrion

Crimson and Salt

If I could walk once more in young shoes,

testing the limits of years breaking,

the glass eyes, blue and brown,

tasting, quivering tongues ripened " I would.

Hesitant, waiting and warm, so full,

and opened wet, crimson salted wound,

shuddering and wanting, desired and grasping,

tasting the quiver and sighs of wet mornings.
