Rest

Rest

A Poem by Johanna
"

"When you held me, my soul came to rest and the feeling of lonesomeness disappeared from my chest.."

"

I know you, until another day has passed
I love you, like this day will be my last
When you held me, my soul came to rest
and the feeling of lonesomeness disappeared from my chest

I know love, but it won´t be mine for long
When I take my last breath, I will pass it along
When you held me, my soul came to rest
and the feeling of sorrow disappeared from my chest

I know now, there´s a reason that I´m here
I love you, like love is a secret we share
When you held me, my soul came to rest
and the feeling of hopelessness disappeared from my chest
