Little BrotherA Poem by JohannaI was inspired by another song about lossIt was a september morning covered with dust Fog in the window over your bed that was untouched and I remember clearly when they told me who had died The september evening I became an only child Let it rain, rain, rain, on the earth All these tears will never heal the hurt it´s been twenty years now since your birth but you weren't supposed to die first It was a november morning when I called your name Just darkness outside your window, you were a picture in a frame and I remember clearly my sanity going wild The september evening I became an only child Let it pour, pour, pour on the earth Time tries to cover up everything you were It´s been thirty years now since your birth but you weren't supposed to die first It was a december morning when they packed your things away Snow outside your window, but no laugher christmas day and I remember clearly how our parents cried The september evening I became an only child Let it flood, flood, flood on the earth Without you I don't see it´s worth It´s been a lifetime now since your birth but you weren't supposed to die first Little brother, you weren´t supposed to die first © 2015 JohannaReviews
