For the students in KenyaA Poem by JohannaA poem for those poor students in Kenya who died. Sad that the world dosen´t pay as much attention just because it happened in Africa. Can you see in my face where I pray? On the temple mount In the church Or towards mecca five times a day
Can you tell by my skin how much I´m worth? If I´m black If I´m white Color decides how much I´ll contribute to the earth
Can you image now that I´m dead? My personality My dreams The lost life I should have led
Did you notice how you saw my soul? Unimportance Indifference Just another life lost on African soil
Yes you noticed when I collapsed on the floors Your bullets of hatred And my black skin Even if my blood is just as red as yours © 2015 JohannaReviews
