It all was lost in the fire

The smoke is rising up into the sky
 I see ashes on the ground
People are closing in to see the fire
The roof is falling down

Only dust, only pieces of the past are left
The flames are whiping them clean
What we had, I´m never going to forget
It´s getting hard to breathe

If only we never did light that candle
If only they got here in time
If only love was easier to handle
It´s all burned to the ground

I walk around among the ashes
Still falling down like rain
I burned myself on the flames
I can´t see anything
The heat, the fire´s roar
Everything has fallen apart
Was it even here before?

The people vanish, the sky is black
Only you and I remain
Ashes of the love we´re never getting back
I´m blue, the sky will never be blue again

Words are lost in the thick smoke
We run to get out alive
You are no longer by my side
No longer by my side
Love, time, dreams, hope
Love
All we ever did desire
