Blood on my face

You call me names

I don´t know how much longer I can wait

For you to change

It´s not the same you know

Love and hate

 

Every time you hurt me

I cry

Every time you ask me if I love you

I lie

 

All the love I owned, you took

I wish I never loved you when you get that look

I´ve begged, I´ve tried to run

I´ve hidden my bruises from everyone

 

I love you, once I did

At first the promises were enough

I thought the day would come

That you´d let go of the monster you´d become

My skin is sore and blue

Nothing you said was ever true

 

I look in the mirror, I don´t want to look at my face

I´ve packed a suitcase

I´m not gonna let you hurt me again

I´ve picked up the pieces you shattered then

I´ve become someone new

The past is moving out of view

I left the blame, the pain with you

 

Because I wasn´t the one who put blood on my face

Who called me names

There was no longer time to wait

For you to change

Freedom, an open gate

It´s not the same you know

I´ve been thinking about writing about this topic for a while.. but it was a really hard poem to write. My prayers go out to all people in this situation

A very well written emotional poem. You could really feel the sadness in in, but also the hope, and the longing for true love. In the end you can sense some strength after making the choice to move on.

For every bad relationship, you take something with you. You learn. For every bad relationship , you grow stronger. Sometimes it takes a long time, but in the end...you always find true love...and the hate you once knew, drowns.

Your alone just as a princess onto a garden walking onto the grass leaving your imprints onto the sands to makes the sand cold .. a fresh air comes and blows your hair, you feel so cold and make a wish to have some snow .. the God wants this world underneath your foots so he let the snow fall right onto the place of yours only to make a smile on your face :)

That's so true ya know,Cant have ya cake and eat too they say! A lot people cant see threw all that you just spoke they turned to things too escape reailty, to comfort there desires,I use to be 1 myself. Wow it was my 1st time ever fell in love gave myself away,But she cheated on me. I don't want sorry lol seeing all made me who I am today and id never change the broken dreams and bridges and dead end rds for nothing:) Your write will help:) Awesome Johanna:)
