You don´t have to look at meA Poem by JohannaIf only I had known, if only I had seen your shadow then, I wouldn´t have loved, freeze my heart to stone...You don´t have to look at me If you don´t want to anymore I´d rather not see the hatred in your eyes Just my voice, when we talk I can hide every sign of the deep sorrow that you would have seen in mine
You hate me But it´s madness Hate is too strong a word I´m only overwhelmed with sadness Eyes that Hate, that are empty, where is your flare? You´re just a shadow of yourself I can´t hate someone who´s not there
You don´t want to look at me So why are you still standing here Words mean nothing now They loose all meaning when you don´t want to hear Vanish into thin air You never did listen The man I loved, I miss him He would never have hurt me like this Why pour poison in your kiss?
If only I had known If only I had seen your shadow then I wouldn´t have loved Freeze my heart to stone I don´t want to look at you Never again
