The Snow will melt

The Snow will melt

A Poem by Johanna
"

It cold in Norway already, and you can smell snow in the air; and so this poem came to me. Dedicated to Mark, for always reading my poetry and for his kindness.

"

It is May

But it´s snowing outside

She didn´t stay

She took a cab, wouldn´t let me drive

The flowers bloomed

But at noon they all died

As I watched her disappear

Broken glass

Like our hearts on the floor

It went so fast

Words I didn´t mean, she slammed the door

I´m the one to blame for this mess

I love her dearly

But she can barely feel that

when her heart´s in pieces

It is May

But there´s frost on the grass

She won´t pick up the phone

I leave a message, and I ask

If she´d please return

there is a lot to mend, a lot to learn

But we´ll make it, I know we can

I´ll become a better man

I just need her

I need her love

It will bring sun from above

until it blooms again the love we felt

then May can come

and the snow will melt

Snow is seasonal so is pain, heartache, sorrow and even joy.Nothing lasts forever. Surely "Snow melts".Beyond sadness lies happiness and beyond happiness lies sadness.
We should all be wise and learn to keep calm under any circumstance.
