SheA Poem by Johanna"The sun came, the street was cleaned, only old tape, no crime scene.."Blood dripping from a knife For every drop, another life Fear, closing eyes She wasn´t found until sunrise
She looked like she was fast asleep In Gods hands, for him to keep Red pillow, the corner of a street With the leaves of fall as her bedsheet
They stood there; saw her, but didn´t really see She was gone; she was free Gone were the scars of childhood In heavens arms, everything good A place she could be understood
Who was to blame for her lying there? Who put the leaves in her hair? Who made her loose her way? Who took away her air? Who told her that they didn´t care? Who made her so scared to share? Who made life so unfair? Who saw her cry her first tear? Who made her life end here?
Blinking blue lights under the stars To put the guilty behind bars Even if the case was solved A young girl never got old The angels took her away when it got too cold
The sun came The street was cleaned Only old tape, no crime scene The cool air got warmer Not a mark where she had been To live, to die, a butterfly The leaves turned green © 2013 JohannaAuthor's Note
