StairsA Poem by JohannaI saw a man siting on some stairs outside an a house.. and this poem came to my mind.Fearless love, bittersweet taste She slammed the door in my face Pace outside for hours Gave her chocolate, gave her flowers Gave her my heart, for her to keep Gave her my dreams when I fell asleep Now it´s all gone, taken by the wind Me, her, us, everything
I´m sitting outside, waiting for her Annoying her neighbor I´m not leaving until we talk Until she sees my tears And our life I´ve painted on the stairs The red is love Blue is sorrow White is hope for tomorrow The green is our dreams that haven´t come true yet Purple is everything I regret In between there are drops of yellow It´s for everything I don´t know And as it starts to rain our life is a rainbow In the rain the colour slips away Revealing the stone, cold and gray The flowers on the roadside gather dew While I keep waiting The grey is me, missing you
I think while I wait for her to come out At last I don´t know what I´m thinking about Our story is one heard many times Love that fails A boy who cries Depressing tale Of regret and lies I went down the wrong track Words that can´t be taken back I felt heaven kiss my face Now I´m locked out outside her place But our story is not the same I will not let her forget my name I´m not one of those sad men Who lost love, saw it end Because I know for sure They never loved their woman As much as I love her © 2013 JohannaReviews
