I feel too much

A little poem about heartbreak..I tend to write about that topic a lot, it never gets old to me, and often a lot of people can relate. We all go through it somewhere along the road..

I break down, and I cry

So much pain, I know that I

Should be stronger

Should hold on longer

But I can´t…

Every word goes so deep

The whole way through

Scaring me

I don´t know what to do

It´s raining outside

because of you

I shouldn´t fall so easy

I shouldn´t be this weak

But these things just get to me

Everything gets to me

I try hard to protect my heart

It´s the only one I´ve got

I can´t hide, I´m not bulletproof

You hit me with every shot

And it hurts so I can´t speak

I can´t move, I can´t touch

I just feel

Just feel too much

I think I tend to feel more often like I can't feel anything much. Just went through a breakup, and I find myself unable to even cry. It's just cold. This was an excellent poem, and if you're seriously going through this, so sorry. Twill be all good

It's a feeling one too many shared, one night too many missed calls and just one unworthy conversation to both sides of the party. It's not just the melody of it that makes it so much like a sad song but it's your heart that was already played too long by the strings that were attached to it when you first fell in love because they were cut off one by one with each of those lies after lies.
