lost at seaA Poem by joeysickemptiness i’m a ship without a captain lost at sea, surrounded by hurtful memories it’s pouring boulders, i’m carrying the world on my shoulders what role does every word play in the hearts of none but in the throats of many i’d give anything to rip out their chest and make them bleed make them see, make them believe dangle their lives in the palm of my hand make them scream, make them plead beg for their lives back, my pain, far gone, too real for an ice pack frightful of the next blow, i’m handcuffed to the show the circus nervous along the surface too heated for the spice rack i’m trying to get my life back back from the grips of satan i am just sayin' don't wanna be the little boy wrapped in styrofoam i'm trying to be the captain with his own milestones © 2017 joeysickReviews
