Creation

Creation

A Poem by Joey Martinez

A woman who relishes the love she attracts from those who view her as a rose from the garden of Eve.
But there’s this lust that lies underneath, she wants to be feared, she wants to deceive.
The Yang controls more than the Yin.
A heavenly touch wishes to grasp more sins.
She wants to add more mystery to her persona, a potion with a little dash of ammonia.
A smile that warms the soul but can also turn a mans heart into coal.
Fear, she wants to be feared.
She wants others to stand clear and watch her dominate the energy in the room.
A flower ready to bloom from showers of doom.
I’m afraid she’ll lose the balance and fallen deep into the Yin.
I’m worried she’ll let the all black attire acquire the good within.
Haha who am I kidding I made her this way.
I made a crescent moon appear in the day.
I love her, I love what she’s becoming.
Turning into the fears she was once running from.
I’m not evil, just a mere selfish being who’s fleeing from the depths of society.
She’s my high, my relapse from sobriety.
Addicted from what I made.
The highs never fade.
