Do not enter

Do not enter

A Poem by Joey Martinez

She has a bad habit of letting the wrong people into her existence.
Keeping distance from those who chose to spend their time trying to to get into her mind.
Unaware there's nothing to find but troubled thoughts and depression.
Which is why she goes after guys who don't even question her expressions.
She loves the false connections and forced affections.
Fooling the others but can't fool herself.
Asking for lust instead of asking for help.
She's scared to let a man in so she fools around with boys who sin.
She wants to be saved and get rid of all those dead skeletons from the grave of her mind.
A good man waits by the door but comes in a boy who views her nothing more than a good time.
It's time to break this chain of false smiles.
It's time she let's a man help her with her denials.
A knock on the door is heard.
Will a man enter or will be left with the herd?
